As with other acupuncture treatments, Sarah starts with taking my pulse on both sides of the body. Last time after putting needles in my head and face, she put some needles in my feet, hands and ankles.
This is me before doing my third facial. I have been getting one of Sarah's facials fairly regularly for about a year. After the first one with her, I felt like this was the only kind facial I would ever get. My complexion and skin felt plump, fresh, and supple afterward. Also, since the face is connected with other parts of the body, my whole body is stimulated. I notice this in my walking.
On my first visit for a facial, she had a prickly, rolling device that she said would open the pores of my face. I have been using that tool often for about a year now. Last time, she recommended castor oil for a moisturizer at night. She said to blend a couple drops of oil with Frankenscence essential oil and rub into the face after cleansing for the night. Now, there's a great treatment! The oil works into the skin fairly rapidly. The skin is very happy with how it feels all night and the entire next day.
So, here is me after the treatment, ready to return home. This picture was taken in the same room with the same lighting. You decide about the results. For me, it's all about how my face feels, how it looks and how I feel overall. I've decided it's a treatment that fits into my overall health maintenance program.
My plan is to do the facial treatment alternated with a regular acupuncture treatment. That makes the facial come up every 6 to 8 weeks. I get a system jump start regardless!
I get my regular treatment tomorrow, Friday, March 23. Check in to see what might be new to my acupuncture regiment.
Thank you for information. I hope to us and pass onto an acquaintance with a new parkinsons diagnosis.
